Alright! Picture time! Once again, apologies for the delay. Kel has this annoying thing called homework while we are here. Dreadful, I know. I’ve been tinkering while she’s in classes, and I’ve been banned from the kitchen for accidentally setting the fire alarm off. I’m running out of stuff to do around this house! But here are a few adventures we’ve been on.
I’ll be back tomorrow to post our other big adventure: London town!
Ug, I still haven’t gotten the hang of this whole ‘blogging’ thing, have I? Sorry about that. We’ve done a lot since I was last around here, and been a lot of fun places. Not as fun as the places I could take us if my poor TARDIS was feeling alright, but she’ll be fit to go soon!
in the mean time, we visited the north coast of Antrim, which was beautiful. We had some fish and chips while we were there. I’ve always liked fish and chips. ‘specially on the coast. They were fantastic!
After that I had to take the camera after Kel took that third picture, I swear she was going to drop the camera over the bridge. But I got a few good shots at the giant’s causeway - funny story that causeway. The touristy center there made a big deal about their little scientificy explanations, and told a few ‘kid’s stories’ about the legends there. The REAL explanation for the causeway is very simple: A Giant made it. And broke it too. Hah! That’s the first place I promised Kel we’d go once the TARDIS is back. People really should listen to myths more.
The next day we visited this old Cathedral, which was nice. Kel likes cathedrals. I can see why. I’m not one for stopping and staying still, but in a place like that… it’s nice every now and then.
The next place we went was hilarious! It was a place where people like to try and re-create the past. Archeology and all that. You know me - I point and laugh at archeologists! Still, they did get a lot of it right. It’s funny to hear the stories though, I’m pretty sure I might be the cause of one or two of their mistakes. I’m pretty sure that’ll have to be the next place we go, one we can travel in time again. All the same, it was nice of the role-player to invite us into his home.
And then, last of all - we had some Jellybabies! I love Jellybabies - have for centuries! I wonder if the ancient Celts would like jellybabies… we should go find out!
Well that took ages. We’ve finally arrived in Ireland! Nice Island, always liked it here. But we had to take “normal” transport, and it took aaaaaages. But Kel snagged some pictures on the way.
In other news, it really is beautiful here. I may begin to make less commentary now, and let the images speak for themselves, but I really want you to share in my adventures!
There is one more note, though - our camera battery died today in the middle of taking pictures, so I didn’t get to be in any of the latter ones, but I thought I’d post them anyway because they are pretty cool.
Luggage! Luggage, luggage, luggage! Good grief, why do humans have so much luggage? (that’s such a fun word!) These things are heavy, too - around 80 lbs combined. But I’m not the one carrying it… I mean really, why did Kel have to bring so much stuff? I never do. I mean I do have a dimensionally transcendental ship and pockets, but still.
I DID however have something to do with the color choices, and perhaps the sign on the front of the trunk. It’s the little things, you know…
Hello, I’m the Doctor! Well, one version of him anyway. It’s a bit of a long story involving a few things that should probably be impossible, but suffice to say I’ve found myself in a strange version of earth where some people see me as a television character, or even a small plushie, which is of course utter nonsense. But everyone can use a little nonsense now and again.
Anyway, I’ve found myself a new companion, Kelenloth (her blog is here: http://kelenloth.tumblr.com/ ), who had the idea of keeping a photo blog. I’ve never been one for blogging, but she said it would help us remember to take pictures on our adventures.
The TARDIS didn’t take the trip between universes too well, so while she’s cooling down we’re off on an old fashioned trip with planes, trains, and automobiles! It’s been a while since I’ve had to use human transport, but I suppose it’ll do.
To make a clear distinction between myself and a certain television character that appears to be popular in this world (I am rather brilliant, I must admit.) Kel tends to call me “Tiny Ten”, and has named the blog after me. I suppose there are much worse titles I’ve been given. You can address me however you’d like, but my name is the Doctor. Feel free to ask a question or whatever you like. Done blogging now, time for adventuring!
Allons-y!
